receptors receptors

the truth about pain is that, the sensation of it only surfaced after when the brain had completely decoded the information following being verified by any visual representations, be it physically or even worse, figuratively inside the minds of ours.

the worst part is, the pain is much more intense should we never had seen it coming and perhaps this is resulted from us having our guards down and definitely not prepared, nor anticipated it to even strike us in our most vulnerable position.

now that is another fascinating thing about our neural behaviour. the mind is so powerful it can actually decipher and dictate what we actually want to think of things around us creatively. when technically things should appears to be resulted in certain outcome, our grey matter can brought up another set of behaviour or sensation, sided to the bias we have chosen to feel.

but what happens if pain as the subject is substituted with hope and expectations? when things went south whilst anticipating it to go otherwise, does the minds processed the frustrations to another degree higher or does it actually ease the frustrations for us to perceive?
